Musical Observations' Concentrations project is an attempt to build a long-term situation for the teaching of the music of our immediate past. This music is still so sadly neglected primarily because it is hardly ever taught - and when it is performed, is usually done so under the most panicked of conditions, with a lack of time and consideration that no one in their right-or-any-other-mind would ever dream of were the composer named Beethoven, Brahms, etc.
